Network analysis needs intensive longitudinal data. One can use baseline data to achieve that. One can also use PECAN: self-reports about how other variables influence the others.
The idea is that PBT can also be delivered with a subset of processes, just as PECAN can be used with a subset of variables. Than they have as goal the increment of psychological flexibility through openness, awareness and engagement. There is tho no consensus on which to start with first! One should use an idiographic network approach to decide which process is most important for the client.
The idea here is to look after if treatment calibrated through the most central node assessed through a PECAN survey is more effective than the least central node.
